1. Definitions
- "AirJaya", "we", "us", "our" — the home plumbing service business registered and operating from 35, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, 50100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "Service" — any home plumbing visit or work carried out by AirJaya, including but not limited to water pressure checks, drain clearing, and basin or sink replacement.
- "Customer", "you", "your" — any individual or entity that books or receives a Service.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any booking confirmation or service quotation issued by AirJaya.
- "Visit" — a single scheduled attendance at a property by an AirJaya technician.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a Service — whether by telephone, email, or the contact form on this website — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are booking on behalf of another person or a business entity, you confirm you have authority to bind that party.
3. Service Description
AirJaya provides residential home plumbing services in Kuala Lumpur and selected areas of the Klang Valley. The three primary services are: Water Pressure and Tap Check, Bathroom Drain Unclogging, and Washbasin and Sink Replacement. Additional minor works identified during a visit may be quoted and carried out with the Customer's agreement.
Geographic availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking. AirJaya reserves the right to decline or reschedule a booking if the requested location falls outside the active service area.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- An adult must be present at the property for the entirety of the technician's visit.
- The Customer must ensure reasonable access to the relevant pipes, valves, and work areas before the visit begins.
- Any existing damage, non-standard fittings, or known complications should be disclosed at the time of booking.
- The Customer must not interfere with work in progress or request modifications outside the agreed scope without prior discussion.
- The property must be free from conditions that pose a safety risk to the technician, including unstable flooring, exposed electrical wiring near water sources, or hostile animals on the premises.
5. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). The published service rates apply unless an alternative written quotation has been agreed in advance.
Payment is due upon completion of the visit. Accepted methods include cash and bank transfer. An itemised invoice will be provided on request.
Any additional parts beyond standard consumables (washers, O-rings, sealant, standard fittings) will be quoted before purchase and invoiced separately. Parts are not charged without the Customer's prior agreement.
Cancellations: Customers may reschedule or cancel a booking without charge by notifying AirJaya at least four hours before the confirmed arrival window. Cancellations made with less than four hours' notice may incur a RM 50 call-out fee.
6. Service Delivery Terms
AirJaya will make reasonable efforts to attend within the agreed two-hour arrival window. Delays caused by traffic or previous visits overrunning will be communicated as early as possible.
The scope of work is limited to what is agreed at the start of the visit following the initial inspection. Any additional work identified mid-visit will be discussed and priced separately before proceeding.
A post-work flow test will be carried out on all affected water sides before the technician departs. If a fault recurs within 14 days and is directly related to the work carried out, AirJaya will attend to assess it at no additional call-out charge.
7. Disclaimers
AirJaya provides services on a best-efforts basis. We do not undertake that any specific outcome will be achieved beyond what is reasonably practicable with the access, pipe condition, and materials available at the time of the visit.
AirJaya is not responsible for faults arising from pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed at the time of booking, wear beyond reasonable expectation in very old fittings, or materials supplied by the Customer.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AirJaya's total liability to you in connection with any single visit shall not exceed the amount paid for that visit.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of income, loss of use, or property damage caused by pre-existing defects. This limitation does not affect your statutory rights under applicable Malaysian consumer protection legislation.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify AirJaya against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your failure to disclose relevant property information, your interference with work in progress, or your breach of any obligation under these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, and layout — is the property of AirJaya. It may not be reproduced, adapted, or redistributed without written permission. No licence to use our intellectual property is granted by these Terms.
11. Termination
Either party may cancel a booking before the confirmed visit time, subject to the cancellation terms in Section 5. AirJaya reserves the right to terminate a visit in progress if the property presents a safety risk to the technician, with no obligation to refund a partially completed visit.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting [email protected] within 30 days of the issue arising.
If informal resolution fails, disputes may be referred to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) or the courts of Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any written quotation or booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Severability: If any clause is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
