Plumbing Work Done with Neighbourly Care
AirJaya started because too many KL homeowners had trouble finding a plumber who showed up on time, explained the problem clearly, and charged what was agreed.
Back to HomeThe Story Behind AirJaya
AirJaya was set up in 2016 by Hafizuddin Rosli, a licensed plumber who had spent eight years working for a contractor that served mainly commercial buildings. When he moved to a terrace house in Chow Kit, he could not find a home plumber who kept to an agreed time or explained costs before starting work. He decided to do something about it.
The name comes from the Malay word air — water — paired with jaya, meaning success or achievement. It is a small reminder that water working properly in a home is not a luxury; it is what keeps daily life running without friction.
Today AirJaya handles hundreds of home visits each year across Kuala Lumpur. The team remains small by intention — every technician knows every job and every customer is dealt with directly, not through a dispatcher chain.
Our Mission
To make home plumbing in Kuala Lumpur straightforward: a clear visit, an honest assessment, work done to a consistent standard, and a tidy handover.
Our Values
-
Honesty first. We share what we find, even when the news is not what the homeowner hoped for.
-
Work done right. Jobs are completed properly, not quickly patched and left for the next visit.
-
Plain communication. No technical jargon unless you want it — findings and prices in language anyone can follow.
The People Behind Each Visit
A small team keeps the work consistent. Every technician handles the whole job — no handing over mid-task.

Standards We Work To
These are not slogans — they are practices built into every visit.
SPAN-Aligned Work
All domestic pipe work follows Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara guidelines for materials, fittings, and installation depth.
Safe Working Practices
Water supply is isolated before any work begins. All tools are checked before entering the home, and protective mats are laid over floors near the work area.
Pre-Work Assessment
Every visit starts with a brief walkthrough to note the pipe type, fitting condition, and access points before any costs are agreed.
Clean-Site Departure
Work areas are cleared of off-cuts, packaging, and debris. Surfaces touched during the job are wiped down before the technician signs off.
Flow Verification
Hot and cold sides are tested after every fitting or repair. No job is considered complete until a full flow cycle runs without drip or seep.
Itemised Invoicing
Every invoice lists labour, materials, and any incidental costs separately. No bundled figures — each line is explained if asked.
Home Plumbing in Kuala Lumpur — What Matters
Older properties in Kuala Lumpur — particularly pre-1990s terrace and semi-detached homes in Chow Kit, Brickfields, and Bangsar — often carry a mix of galvanised iron and PVC pipe runs. When pressure drops or a drain slows, the cause is rarely obvious from the surface. A careful inspection of the main inlet valve, individual tap connectors, and the hidden trap beneath a shower basin is worth doing before any part is replaced.
AirJaya technicians carry common replacement parts — washers, O-rings, standard P-traps, compression fittings — on every visit. Many small repairs are completed in the same session as the inspection, which saves the household a second appointment and a second call-out.
We work in both Bahasa Malaysia and English and are comfortable speaking with elderly residents, tenants, or property managers. Findings are shared verbally and, if requested, noted in a brief written summary that the homeowner can keep for future reference.
